As a C++ programmer, you will develop the first green coding platform for the most effective application development & CO2 reduction.
Location:
Rotterdam (Home Office up to 60%)
Type of Contract:
Permanent position at our client; no staff leasing
Your Duties
- You will develop, maintain and extend an innovative development platform that generates optimized C++ code to reduce HW resources, power and CO2 emissions!
- You will be part of the R&D team, designing and implementing new features and functionalities,
- You are responsible for the code quality, performance and scalability of the system.
- You fix bugs and problems on the platform.
- You support the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance,
- You keep up to date with new trends and technologies.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering or comparable training
- Experience in platform development or with coding tools
- Many years of experience in software development with C++
- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git
- In-depth understanding of software technology, data structures and complex algorithms
- Experience with other programming languages and technologies (e.g. Python, Java, SQL)
- Possibly experience with integration of APIs and CI/CD
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and English language
