Your Duties
- As a Software Architect Embedded Linux, you will configure and maintain embedded Linux system distributions with Yocto.
- You will work in an agile environment based on SCRUM and will also be responsible for documentation.
- You will work together with different development teams across projects and support them as well as the IT security department.
Your profile
- Successfully completed relevant studies
- Several years of professional experience in embedded software development
- Strong knowledge of embedded Linux, YOCTO and Linux kernel configuration
- Experience with different processor architectures and processor types such as ARM and x86
- Knowledge of agile development methods and working with GNU, MAKE and GIT
- Ideally, but not a must, experience with cmake, C++ and scripting languages such as Python
- Knowledge of software protocols and bus systems such as I²C, USB and CAN bus as well as Docker, Jenkins, JIRA and Confluence is desirable, but also not a must
- Good knowledge of German and English
